Reaching Our Community
Our grant overview specifically targets individuals living with mental illnesses such as schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, ADHD, learning differences and OCD, as well as their support networks. We aim to challenge the stigma associated with these conditions and promote understanding and empathy within the wider community. We believe these conditions aren't negatives, but different ways of thinking that can include creativity, insight, resilience, and depth.
Investing in Care
One of the core aspects of our non-profit is to increase the pay for our healthcare staff. To make this vision a reality, we require funding for both staffing and rental costs, as we currently have no capital. We envision community group sessions on Tuesday nights and individual sessions run by our dedicated staff. Your support will enable us to provide quality support services for mental health in Perth, Australia. The funding will support us in challenging stigma of the illnesses and creating a support arm for recovery and self-understanding.
